Vermicelli With Chicken (for 2 persons)

Imagine in front of you, there is hot, delicious and sweet-smelling vermicelli with chicken broth. I bet you cannot resist the temptation and come eat it right away. It can be another recipe that you can make for your family in weekend if your time budget is not so tight.

Ingredients

  • 300gr of chicken.
  • 04 “Good Banquet” Vermicelli cakes
  • Thin - sliced ginger
  • 2 grilled shallot.
  • Spices: Fish sauce, Salt, Black pepper, Sugar, Monosodium Glutamate, Spring onion and thin sliced coriander, spring onion and chilli, lime.

Direction

 

–       Wash and drain chicken

–       Bring a pot of water to simmer. Add chicken, grilled shallot (not cover the lid). When the broth is boiling, turn heat to low and simmer until the chicken is tender.

–       Pick the chicken out then shred it.

–       Remove ginger and shallot from the broth.

–       Season the broth with salt, fish sauce, pepper, sugar and monosodium glutamate.

–       Simmer the broth, add Good Banquet vermicelli and cook for 2 minutes. Then pick them out, cut the vermicelli into shorter pieces by a scissors.

–       Place “Good banquet” vermicelli into each bowl, add chicken, spring onion and chilli on the top. Ladle the soup into and may enjoy with lime, black pepper.
