ACECOOK VIETNAM ACCOMPANIES THE 2ND VIETNAM YOUTH AND STUDENT FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2024

Following the enthusiastic response from audiences during the 2023 season, the 2nd Vietnam Youth and Student Football Tournament 2024 has once again been successfully organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper, in cooperation with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

The tournament serves as a healthy and rewarding playground for students across the country, providing opportunities for young people from universities to interact, learn from one another, exchange academic and athletic experiences, and develop a sporting spirit. At the same time, it raises students’ awareness of the importance of physical exercise, encouraging a widespread habit of regular sports participation.

The tournament took place from January 6 to March 31, featuring 64 teams and more than 1,472 players, with a total prize pool reaching 887 million VND. The competition was divided into two stages: the qualifying round, held from January 6 to March 9 across six regional clusters nationwide (the Northern region, Central Coastal region, Ho Chi Minh City, Southeast region, South Central – Central Highlands region, and Mekong Delta region), and the final round, which took place at Ton Duc Thang University (Ho Chi Minh City) from March 16 to March 31, with the participation of the top 12 teams from the group stage.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Sport Education was crowned the new champion of the 2nd Vietnam Youth and Student Football Tournament 2024.

After more than two weeks of exciting competition and the spirit of “Play Fair – Win Fair – Cheer Fair,” the tournament officially concluded with a grand coronation of the new champions, Ho Chi Minh City University of Sport Education, following a thrilling and technically skilled final against Thuy Loi University.

As an official sponsor, Acecook Vietnam contributed 1,163 boxes of products as prizes for outstanding individuals and organizations in the tournament. In addition, the company organized a variety of engaging activities, such as the minigame “Test Your Prediction Skills – Guess the Champion” on the Acecook – Happiness & More fanpage, with a total prize value of 3,000,000 VND. The minigame attracted over 4,200 participants and created a vibrant online “stadium” atmosphere.
