Acecook Vietnam and students from Cuu Long University and Saigon University of Technology spread the message “Live Green – Live Healthy”

Not just a series of seminars on environmental protection or balanced nutrition, the program series “Live Green – Live Healthy With Students” organized by Acecook Vietnam in coordination with Thanh Nien Newspaper truly became a valuable playground, where young people could learn, experience, and take action for the future.

Kicking off the activities, the program stopped at Cuu Long University (Vinh Long) and Saigon University of Technology, attracting thousands of student participants.

1. Experts decode the nutrition formula

Within the framework of “Live Green – Live Healthy With Students,” students from the two universities had the chance to listen to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Bach Mai, former Deputy Director of the National Institute of Nutrition, share specialized knowledge on how to build a scientific nutrition regimen for young people.

Dr. Mai emphasized that, for students, this is the time when the body needs plenty of energy for studying, movement, and development. Therefore, eating properly, getting enough nutrients, and eating regularly is crucial. According to her, skipping breakfast, eating irregularly, or favoring certain nutrient groups can result in fatigue, abdominal fat accumulation, and even an increased risk of metabolic diseases.

Accordingly, a balanced meal should include four food groups (carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins – minerals), divided into five meals per day, and physical activity should be maintained at a suitable level.

Notably, the expert also stressed that instant noodles, if used correctly and combined with other foods, can absolutely be a part of a scientific diet. The important thing is that students need to diversify their meals, avoid overusing convenience foods, and maintain daily physical activity to ensure long-term health.

Ms. Ho Bao Anh, Acecook Vietnam representative, also helped students better understand the modern instant noodle production process. Products from reputable companies like Acecook Vietnam undergo strict control at every stage, from ingredient selection, production, to packaging. All comply with both national and international food safety standards, ensuring safe, stable products with transparent information.

2. Taking action together for a sustainable environment

Alongside raising nutritional awareness, the program also delivered the “Live Green” message through practical activities such as trading trash for gifts, movement games, and especially in-depth sharing about the 4R philosophy – Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Ms. Truong Ai My – representative of Acecook Vietnam’s Sustainable Development Promotion Department – helped students better understand the role of businesses in environmental protection. She shared that Acecook is implementing packaging transformation from plastic to eco-friendly materials, thereby helping reduce over 80% of plastic waste released into nature.

Students were also guided on specific actions to apply the 4R philosophy in their daily lives: saying “no” to single-use plastics, reusing old items, properly sorting waste, etc. Small steps, but they help create big changes for the surrounding environment.

Within the program, students could immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the event area with many interactive booths and green challenges. The “Trade trash for gifts” activity attracted hundreds of students bringing plastic bottles, scrap paper, and cans to exchange for small gifts.

Participating students also received free health measurements and consultations

Additionally, the “Live Green – Live Healthy” movement and check-in area was always bustling with fun games that helped students both practice physical health and spread positive vibes. Students participating in the program also had the chance to have their health indicators checked and received many attractive gifts.

3. Accompanying the young generation for a sustainable future

For Acecook Vietnam, the “Live Green – Live Healthy” journey does not stop at sharing knowledge, but is also a commitment to long-term companionship with the youth. The company continually innovates production processes, develops safe – high quality – environmentally friendly products, while spreading the message of positive living to the community.

This journey from Acecook Vietnam will continue to reach more universities across the country, contributing to building a healthy, conscious, and sustainable young generation in Vietnam. Stay tuned for “Live Green – Live Healthy” at the next schools!
