ACECOOK VIETNAM AND STUDENTS: “HEALTHY LIVING, QUALITY LIVING”

On the morning of October 14th, at Dormitory Zone B, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), the event “Students – Healthy Living, Quality Living” was held, jointly organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper and Acecook Vietnam, attracting over 3,000 students. The festival was part of the program “Helping Students Step Into Life,” making a memorable impression with a range of exciting activities, opportunities to meet experts and artists, and many valuable gifts.

The event featured a line-up of “super-hot” guests such as MSc. Dr. Truong Nhat Khue Tuong from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, University Medical Center; actor Minh Du; Gen Z teacher Nguyen Thai Duong; along with representatives from Acecook Vietnam.

Living Healthy with Students

At the festival, students received a wealth of useful knowledge on how to balance nutrition and maintain good health throughout university life. MSc. Dr. Truong Nhat Khue Tuong emphasized that a nutritious meal should include three groups: carbohydrates, protein, and vegetables. Dr. Khue shared that with fast food, such as instant noodles, students can still balance nutrition by pairing them with vegetables, eggs, and milk for a more complete meal. These tips align with the 4 – 5 – 1 Nutrition Formula that Acecook Vietnam has consistently promoted.

Students were excited to learn nutritional information provided by the program

With their principle of contributing to society, Acecook Vietnam not only produces instant food products but also aspires for the Vietnamese dining table—especially for students—to be filled with nutritious options. To this end, Acecook Vietnam has been making ongoing efforts to enhance the nutritional value of their instant noodle products. In addition to closely monitoring raw material sources during agricultural production, Acecook Vietnam also researches and adds micronutrients often lacking in Vietnamese diets, such as iron, calcium, and fiber. For instance, Ohayo porridge products are fortified with a type of fiber found in baby formula for easier digestion; Phu Huong glass noodles are supplemented with vitamin B12, suitable for those on a diet.

An Exhilarating and High-Quality Festival

For the first time ever, a nutrition “arena” in the format of the Golden Bell Challenge was held right within Dormitory Zone B, VNU-HCM. Students competed by answering questions on nutrition and health for attractive cash and material prizes. Additionally, a cooking competition themed “Instant Noodle Remix” put teams through a variety of exciting culinary challenges.

Dishes featuring Pôtato King noodles as the main ingredient were created, meeting aesthetic standards and also being delicious and nutritionally balanced with added vegetables, meat, and eggs. Thanks to their culinary skills and nutritional knowledge, the students fully won over the judges’ palates.

The event became even livelier as students participated in a series of games to earn points and exchange them for gifts. After an ONLINE 360° FACTORY TOUR to learn more about the instant noodle production process, students took on further challenges at the NHO and CAYKAY booths.

Completing a series of exciting challenges together

The challenges ranged from easy to difficult. Participants not only needed to have knowledge about instant noodles but also had to be careful and quick on their feet to win. Those who completed all game checkpoints received valuable gifts at the ACECOOK NOODLE STATION.

The “Healthy Living, Quality Living” festival provided students with useful information and sharing on nutrition, while also creating a fun playground with many appealing gifts to take home.

In the near future, Acecook Vietnam will continue to roll out many meaningful programs, so stay tuned and support Acecook!
