Acecook Vietnam Brings “Loving Pho” to Residents of Flood-Affected Hoa Thinh

Held over two days, January 7-8, 2026, in Hoa Thinh commune (formerly Dak Lak – Phu Yen province), the “7th Loving Pho” program brought over 5,000 bowls of pho along with many practical sharing activities to the residents of the “flood-stricken” region, continuing the journey of spreading humanitarian values of Pho Day.

Recently, Acecook Vietnam, in collaboration with Tuoi Tre Newspaper and other organizing units, brought bowls of loving pho to Hoa Thinh commune. As a pioneering enterprise in the food industry, currently producing quality and delicious instant pho, the company hopes that through these warm bowls of pho, they can contribute to sharing difficulties and providing motivation for the local people to quickly stabilize their lives after typhoon No. 14.

When Pho Becomes a Bridge of Sharing

“Loving Pho” is a humanitarian activity within the framework of Pho Day on December 12 – an annual event initiated by Tuoi Tre Newspaper since 2017, with the desire to make pho a culinary ambassador, promote Vietnamese culture, and spread positive values to the community.

Continuing that journey, the “7th Loving Pho” chose Hoa Thinh – a locality heavily damaged by floods after the storm – as its destination this time. Within the program’s framework, the organizing committee cooked and served over 5,000 free bowls of pho for children, disadvantaged people, lonely elderly individuals, and soldiers supporting construction and overcoming natural disaster consequences in the locality.

In a simple but heartfelt atmosphere, the warm bowls of pho not only filled stomachs but also provided spiritual encouragement, helping the local people feel the care and companionship from society.

A Bowl of Hope…

In addition to serving free pho, the program also organized pho cooking instruction sessions and shared pho business experiences, helping local residents access an additional livelihood, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of Vietnamese culinary heritage in daily life.

Artist Truong Giang was present at the program and helped cook pho for the local people.

In parallel, thousands of gifts and over 300 million VND were given to students and residents of Hoa Thinh after the historic flood, as an encouragement for them and their families to confidently move forward.

A highlight of the program was the cultural exchange activity, with the participation of Pho Loving Ambassador – Artist Truong Giang and other artists from Ho Chi Minh City. The simple, intimate performances contributed to creating a warm atmosphere, helping local residents temporarily put aside their worries after the storm and floods, and share and connect with each other.

In addition, artist Truong Giang donated 200 million VND and 500 cartons of milk to the local people, contributing to extending the resources for this humanitarian journey.

Within the framework of Pho Day 2025, in addition to activities honoring pho culinary culture in Ho Chi Minh City, a community program called “Run Pho Vietnam” was held in Hanoi with the message of connecting health – spreading the essence of Vietnamese pho. The event attracted thousands of participants running 5 km and 10 km, attracting a large number of young people, families, and pho-loving communities from many provinces and cities, creating a vibrant atmosphere and connecting young people with traditional Vietnamese culture.

From Pho Day to Loving Pho, the journey of pho is not only limited to culinary promotion but also becomes a bridge connecting people, spreading the spirit of sharing and social responsibility.
Acecook Vietnam is proud to accompany programs that bring sustainable value to the community, where every bowl of pho is not only a familiar dish but also a symbol of care, responsibility, and a commitment to working together for a better society.
