Acecook Vietnam continues to accompany the dissemination of disaster prevention knowledge to over 1,000 students in Thai Nguyen province

Following the journey of spreading the “Happy Society – Happiness for the community” value, Acecook Vietnam recently coordinated with the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control and relevant units to organize a series of awareness and educational activities on disaster prevention in Thai Nguyen province, in response to the National Week for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control 2026.

The highlight of the program was the Final round of the “Ring the Golden Bell” competition themed “Joining hands with children in disaster prevention – Creating a sustainable future,” which took place on May 14, 2026, at Bac Kan Secondary School. The event saw the participation of students from three secondary schools: Bac Kan, Huyen Tung, and Duc Xuan.

Spreading disaster prevention knowledge to the younger generation

This is the 4th consecutive year that Acecook Vietnam has been honored to accompany the “Ring the Golden Bell” competition with the desire to help popularize knowledge and improve disaster response skills for students. Through a lively and engaging interactive format, the program helps students access disaster prevention knowledge more intuitively, practically, and memorably. At the same time, this is an opportunity for schools and local authorities to continue prioritizing and strengthening disaster prevention and control efforts, especially given the increasingly complex weather patterns in recent years.

Speaking at the Final Round of the Ring the Golden Bell competition, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – Deputy Director of the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control shared: “The competition creates a useful and healthy playground, promoting the awareness of learning disaster prevention skills among students. Hopefully, after this competition, each student will become a ‘messenger,’ continuing to spread this knowledge to family and friends, and actively practicing it to ensure safety for themselves as well as the community.”

Following the success of previous seasons, the 2026 competition “Ring the Golden Bell – Joining hands with children in disaster prevention – Creating a sustainable future” has contributed to raising community awareness, promoting the integration of disaster prevention knowledge in schools, and mobilizing the participation of organizations and businesses in the journey to build safe and resilient communities against natural disasters.

Acecook Vietnam spreads the “Happy Society” value

Beyond producing safe and reliable products for consumers, Acecook Vietnam consistently pursues the “Happy Society” value through many practical community activities. Over the years, the enterprise has continuously accompanied educational programs, community support initiatives, disaster relief, and sustainable development efforts in many localities across the country.

In this series of programs, besides raising community awareness about disaster prevention for students, Acecook Vietnam also wishes to highlight the role of essential foods in emergency situations. With characteristics such as convenience, easy preservation, easy transportation, and quick preparation in conditions lacking basic facilities, instant noodles have long been an essential relief item in many support operations in areas affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods.

Among these, Acecook Vietnam’s Hao Hao instant noodle product is chosen by many organizations, unions, and individuals as a timely source of support for affected areas. Accompanying disaster prevention programs is also a way for Acecook Vietnam to demonstrate its mission of “Contributing to society through the path of cuisine,” bringing practical values to the community.

From 2022 to the present, Acecook Vietnam and the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control have coordinated to implement the Ring the Golden Bell competitions in many localities such as Da Nang, Quang Nam, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Quang Binh, Lao Cai, and now Thai Nguyen. This contributes to spreading disaster prevention knowledge to students and communities in areas frequently hit by natural disasters and heavy rains.

Mr. Pham Trung Thanh, a representative of Acecook Vietnam, shared: “This competition not only brings children dry numbers or information, but equips us all with extremely practical ‘survival tips’. Specifically: knowing how to protect oneself and loved ones when natural disasters strike; becoming ‘child ambassadors’ to spread knowledge about disaster prevention. And most importantly, building a safe, sustainable community for the future right from when the children are still in school.”

The activity also contributes to implementing the goals of the Project “Raising community awareness and community-based disaster risk management to 2030” under Decision No. 553/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

Going beyond a mere knowledge competition, Acecook Vietnam hopes to help plant the seeds of proactive disaster preparedness in the younger generation, thereby spreading a spirit of responsibility, sharing, and joining hands to build a happier and more sustainable community in the future.
