ACECOOK VIETNAM HONORED IN THE TOP 50 EXEMPLARY SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISES 2025

Ho Chi Minh City, July 17, 2025 – Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company has been named among the “Top 50 Exemplary Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam 2025” at the Corporate Sustainability Awards 2025 (CSA 2025), organized and voted by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine, recognized in two outstanding categories: Outstanding CSR Activities and Sustainable Resource Management. Notably, Acecook was also honored as the Excellent Sustainable Enterprise 2025 among FDI businesses.

The awards feature a distinguished judging panel comprised of reputable organizations such as HSBC Vietnam, PwC Vietnam, Schneider Electric, the Institute for Circular Economy Development, Talentnet, VinaCapital, among others. Evaluations are based on sustainable development strategies, social and environmental impact, and the ability to create long-term value for the community.

This marks the first year Acecook Vietnam is included in the rankings and recognized in two categories. Firstly, in the E – Sustainable Resource Management category, Acecook was commended for its efforts in packaging innovation, reducing plastic waste, conserving energy, and adopting renewable energy. The company is making significant investments in a comprehensive green transformation process. Currently, 54% of Acecook’s factories use biomass fuel, with a goal to raise this rate to 80% by 2030. At the same time, the company is actively improving products to minimize environmental impact, with 90% of its cup, bowl, and tray noodle packaging now converted to eco-friendly paper materials. Remarkably, the “super factory” project in Vinh Long is underway, with a total investment of USD 200 million over 11 hectares. The factory is designed with green standards, including the installation of solar power systems, biomass boilers, and aims towards an efficient and environmentally friendly production model.

Secondly, in the S – Outstanding CSR Activities category, Acecook received high praise for its practical, consistent contributions and spreading happiness throughout the community. A prime example is the “Happy Noodle Project”, launched in 2019, which has donated over 72,000 boxes of noodles, 2,250 scholarships, 2,200 sets of study supplies, and sponsored a clean water facility for nearly 1,600 disadvantaged children in remote areas across Vietnam, with a total value to date of VND 15 billion. Additionally, the “Happy Tour” program provides opportunities for underprivileged children to experience, visit factories, and engage with culture and education.

The CSA 2025 award program is divided into 16 awarding categories, encompassing both self-nominations and nominations by others, evaluated by a panel of judges. This approach enables businesses to focus on nominating their strengths related to sustainable development each year, while also allowing the community to easily recognize the contributions of each company. Although Acecook participated for the first time, thanks to outstanding contributions to sustainable development, the company was also honored as the Excellent Sustainable Enterprise 2025 in the FDI category—an exclusive distinction chosen by the CSA 2025 judging panel. This is an important acknowledgment of Acecook Vietnam’s efforts in its sustainable development strategy, encompassing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors, closely tied to the company’s 3H core values (Happy consumers, Happy society, Happy employees).

Previously, Acecook Vietnam was also recognized at the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2025, organized by Enterprise Asia, winning the “Social Empowerment” category. The award ceremony held in Bangkok adopted the theme “A Necessary Shift to a Regenerative Economy,” highlighting the role of businesses in regenerating sustainable value for society and the environment. This international award further affirms Acecook’s long-term strategy—linking business growth with social welfare, environmental action, and community responsibility.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its first sales (July 7, 1995 – July 7, 2025), Acecook Vietnam officially announced its new development strategy – “Cook Happiness Through Innovation,” marking a strategic transformation towards sustainable growth and reaching out to the world.
