Acecook Vietnam inaugurates new Vinh Long factory with a total investment of over 200 million USD

On March 10, 2026, Acecook Vietnam officially inaugurated its new Vinh Long Factory with a total investment exceeding 200 million USD. This is not only the company’s largest-scale project to date but also a crucial step in its sustainable development strategy, reaffirming Acecook’s long-term investment commitment in Vietnam.

The new Acecook Vinh Long Factory is built on an area of 11 hectares in Hoa Phu Industrial Park, featuring a modern production line system, integrating automation technology, and meeting strict standards for food safety and environmental protection. The project is expected to become Acecook’s strategic production hub in the Mekong Delta region, contributing to enhancing supply capacity for both domestic and export markets.

The inauguration ceremony of the new Acecook Vinh Long Factory was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee, the Deputy Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, along with representatives from various Departments, Agencies, Central, and local authorities.

Acecook Vietnam’s Largest Factory

The new Acecook Vinh Long Factory is built on an area of 11 hectares in Hoa Phu Industrial Park with a total investment of over 200 million USD. The factory boasts a large production capacity with 17 production lines when fully installed and operational, achieving an estimated output of 81,000 tons of products per year and 27,600 tons of semi-finished products per year (soup packets, seasoning oil packets, etc.). In the initial phase, the factory will operate 9 production lines, expected to supply about 1.2 billion product packets annually to domestic and export markets.

The entire system of machinery, production lines, and operational processes are invested in and installed with a focus on automation, integrating modern technology, and meeting international and Vietnamese standards for food hygiene and safety and environmental protection. The new Acecook Vinh Long Factory can meet the diverse production needs for instant products such as noodles, vermicelli, pho, bun, and hu tieu.

This is Acecook’s largest factory in Vietnam, playing a strategic role in expanding production capacity, enhancing supply capabilities, optimizing product distribution systems, and fostering sustainable development. To date, Acecook Vietnam owns 14 factories nationwide, forming a widespread and synchronized production network from North to South.

A Commitment to a Sustainable Future

The new Acecook Vinh Long Factory is built according to the “green factory” model, by integrating energy-saving solutions and minimizing environmental impact. The factory is equipped with a biomass boiler using biomass fuel, with a capacity of 30 tons/hour, which will reduce approximately 75,000 tons of CO2/year compared to a coal-fired boiler of the same capacity.

In the new office building, the lobby area is designed with environmentally friendly materials. The floor tiles are made from recycled materials, while the wallpaper uses raw materials from recycled rice husks. The choice of these materials demonstrates the sustainable development orientation of the Vinh Long factory – a place that produces products with main ingredients from rice, while also contributing to spreading the message of using environmentally friendly and responsible materials.

Additionally, the production space is harmoniously planned with green areas within the factory premises, while also applying smart management solutions to optimize resource utilization and enhance overall factory operational efficiency. In the near future, the factory plans to install a solar power system, which is expected to reduce emissions by approximately 4,700 tons of CO2 per year. This also serves as a foundation for the company to “open the way to the future” – moving towards a modern, green, and smart production model, in line with Acecook Vietnam’s long-term sustainable development strategy.

The new Acecook Vinh Long Factory is expected to create over 3,000 job opportunities for local laborers, contribute an average of 180 billion VND per year to the state budget, and help promote socio-economic development and the supply chain of raw materials, logistics services, and supporting industries, creating a positive ripple effect throughout the entire region.

Acecook Vietnam General Director speaks at the inauguration ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kaneda Hiroki – General Director of Acecook Vietnam shared: “The inauguration of the new Acecook Vinh Long Factory is a clear testament to our long-term vision and serious investment commitment in Vietnam. The factory’s highlight is not only its scale but also its sustainable development orientation, because we believe that a company’s development must go hand in hand with its social and environmental responsibilities. In addition, this project will create thousands of job opportunities, contributing to improving the income and skills of local workers and making a positive contribution to the socio-economic development of Vinh Long province and the Mekong Delta region.”

The operation of the new Vinh Long factory will mark the next important milestone in Acecook Vietnam’s development journey, demonstrating the company’s continuous efforts to create good values for consumers, society, and employees, while opening up prospects for sustainable development and reaching global heights in the future.
