ACECOOK VIETNAM JOINT STOCK COMPANY HOLDS GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR $200 MILLION FACTORY PROJECT IN VINH LONG PROVINCE

On the morning of March 8, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for its large-scale instant food manufacturing plant project, with an investment of up to $200 million, in the Mekong Delta region.

Accordingly, this Acecook Vietnam factory is located in Vinh Long Province, within the Hoa Phu Industrial Park, and is built on a site of 11 hectares, consisting of two main categories: a production workshop and an office area. The site will manufacture instant products such as noodles, vermicelli, pho, rice noodles, and glass noodles, with a total scale of 17 production lines and is expected to create over 3,000 local jobs. In its first operational phase, the plant will supply about 1.2 billion packets of products per year, running nine production lines. This is the 12th factory Acecook has built in Vietnam.

A highlight of this project is its environmentally friendly design standards. Notably, the plant can be equipped with solar panels to provide electricity for production and operations. The boiler system, which supplies heat for the plant, will also use eco-friendly biomass fuel.

Currently, Acecook Vietnam owns 11 factories across the country, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Vinh Long, Da Nang, Hung Yen, and Bac Ninh, with total annual output serving consumers exceeding 3.4 billion products and a workforce of over 6,000 employees. Entering the Vietnamese market in 1993, Acecook Vietnam is a leading company in the instant noodle industry and is known for its many famous brands of instant noodles, vermicelli, rice noodles, pho, and glass noodles, notably the beloved Hao Hao instant noodles, enjoyed by generations of Vietnamese consumers. Hao Hao currently holds two Vietnam records: “Hao Hao Noodles – the instant noodle brand with the highest sales in Vietnam from 2000 (data from 2000 to 2023)” and “Hao Hao Noodles – the first Vietnamese instant noodle brand to sell 30 billion packets (data from 2000 to 2021).” These two records were certified by the Vietnam Record Organization in November 2023 and December 2021, respectively.
