Guided by the principle of “Cook happiness” to bring happiness to consumers, employees, and society, Acecook Vietnam identifies sustainable development as a top priority in its long-term corporate strategy. Acecook Vietnam’s significant jump in the CSI 2024 rankings reflects the company’s remarkable efforts, closely aligning with the criteria set by the 2024 Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI). This index includes 153 indicators, with 62% being compliance-based and 38% being advanced indicators, to comprehensively evaluate businesses across economic efficiency, corporate governance, social responsibility, and environmental protection. To achieve sustainable economic growth linked with social responsibility and environmental protection, Acecook Vietnam has been implementing practical activities such as providing high-quality products, enhancing employee welfare, using renewable energy, protecting the environment, and making positive contributions to the community for a better future.
Developing Products to Enhance Nutritional Value and Bring Happiness to Consumers
As the leading company in the domestic instant noodle industry, Acecook Vietnam recognizes its great responsibility to provide high-quality, nutritious, and safe products, as well as to deliver accurate and scientific information to consumers. Aiming to enhance the value of the instant food sector, the company has researched and improved its products, such as fortifying Hao Hao noodles with calcium, adding vitamin B12 to Phu Huong vermicelli, and creating fiber-rich Ohayo instant porridge. Notably, its export products are also labeled Gluten-free, Vegan, and so on, helping international consumers make confident choices based on their specific needs.

The company also maintains accurate and scientific communication about instant noodles and educates consumers on balanced nutrition through a series of seminars and educational programs on food safety and nutrition for women’s associations, pupils, and students in localities nationwide. Beyond nutrition education, the company also organizes workshops and educational activities on environmental protection, the “Live Green, Live Healthy” program, waste sorting methods, and more to raise community awareness.

In particular, the company has expanded its factory tour programs, welcoming about 10,000 visitors annually to its factories nationwide. This provides an opportunity for consumers to directly observe the production process, building trust and confidence in product quality, while also offering guidance on scientific ways to consume noodles. This is also a chance for the company to connect more closely with consumers, listen to their opinions, understand their needs, and thereby make suitable improvements to ensure outstanding quality for both products and services.
Building a Happy and Inspiring Work Environment
One of the key factors contributing to Acecook Vietnam’s success on its sustainable development journey is its focus on human resource development. A positive work environment, an inspiring corporate culture, and respect for human values have created a strong bond among more than 6,000 employees at Acecook Vietnam. To build a sustainable workforce, Acecook Vietnam focuses on promoting a culture of innovation through flexible initiatives and policies that encourage employees to develop their abilities and propose creative ideas. In addition, the company provides in-depth training programs for staff on strategic thinking, leadership skills, time management, and problem-solving. To help employees achieve a work-life balance, Acecook Vietnam actively organizes extracurricular activities such as sports and cultural events, fostering a friendly work environment and strengthening team spirit. Furthermore, the company organizes programs for employees’ families, such as factory tours and holiday gifts, demonstrating deep care for each individual and their family.
With attractive welfare policies and an open corporate culture, Acecook Vietnam not only retains talent but also creates conditions for them to reach their full potential. These efforts have earned Acecook Vietnam a place in the Top 5 Best Places to Work in Vietnam in the FMCG industry in 2024, affirming its effective human resource strategy and strong appeal to the workforce.
Promoting Sustainable Production, Joining Hands to Protect the Green Planet
Following its sustainable development orientation, Acecook Vietnam made significant strides in minimizing its environmental impact in 2024. A notable move is the transition of packaging for its cup, bowl, and tray noodle products to environmentally friendly materials: using paper cups instead of plastic for products like Modern, Handy Hao Hao, and Caykay, as well as beginning a trial to remove plastic forks from mini cup noodles. Despite the increased production costs from this packaging change, Acecook Vietnam remains committed to this improvement to reduce plastic use, limit plastic waste in the environment, and maintain quality and food safety standards. This effort not only positively impacts consumers and strengthens brand trust but also makes a practical contribution to environmental protection.
Aiming for sustainable instant noodle products that help protect the environment, Acecook Vietnam not only focuses on reducing plastic waste but also transitions to clean energy. Since 2021, the company has installed a boiler system using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imported from Japan, which reduces CO2 emissions by about 43%, NOx by 70%, and completely eliminates SO2 compared to coal-fired boilers. By 2023, Acecook Vietnam began transitioning to Biomass boilers, which use agricultural by-products, at its remaining factories. By 2025, Acecook Vietnam aims to complete its transition to clean energy across all factories, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases, energy conservation, environmental protection, and climate change mitigation.
Additionally, Acecook Vietnam uses green energy from a solar power system to produce its instant noodles. The rooftop solar system installed at the main office building and a factory in the Ho Chi Minh City area can generate an average of 900,000 kWh per year. This amount of electricity is equivalent to the power needed to produce approximately 3.6 million packs of Hao Hao noodles. Besides production, the generated electricity is also used for the operations of the main office in Tan Binh Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City, which has nearly 400 staff members. This environmentally friendly green energy system not only helps reduce emissions and optimize costs in the Ho Chi Minh City area but will also be expanded to the Vinh Long factory, expected to be operational in 2026, further affirming Acecook Vietnam’s commitment to sustainability.

Acecook Vietnam’s sustainable development journey is also clearly demonstrated through its commitment to social responsibility, via charitable activities and contributions to the development of sports, culture, and community quality of life. Since 2019, Acecook Vietnam has partnered with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children to implement projects, donating over 15 billion VND to 50,000 disadvantaged children through nutritious meals, scholarships, and school supplies. Within this partnership, the “Happy Trip” project brought nearly 100 disadvantaged children from across the country to visit the Acecook Vietnam factory in Ho Chi Minh City, helping to nurture their bright dreams.

Furthermore, the company is a familiar sponsor of major and minor sporting events nationwide and is the main sponsor of the Vietnam National Football Team, encouraging people to participate in sports and physical activities to build a solid foundation of health.
With its commitment to sustainable development, Acecook Vietnam continuously implements practical solutions to link economic growth with environmental protection and social responsibility. These efforts not only affirm the company’s position but also spread positive values, contributing to the creation of a happy and prosperous society.
