ACECOOK VIETNAM PARTNERS WITH THE “VIETNAMESE-JAPANESE FOLK SONG TRANSLATION CONTEST 2023”

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, Acecook Vietnam has sponsored the first-ever Vietnamese-Japanese Folk Song Translation Contest 2023.

The contest is part of the Vietnamese-Japanese Folk Song Festival, initiated and organized by the Center for Linguistic-Educational and Cultural Research and Development (CLEF), in collaboration with the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Association and the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, and with the partnership of Acecook Vietnam.

As a Japanese company with nearly 30 years of history in Vietnam, Acecook has always strived to be a bridge that connects and promotes the relationship between the two countries, both in business and cultural exchange. Through its partnership with activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan relations organized by the Embassy, such as festivals and the opera “Princess Anio,” and now the Vietnamese-Japanese Folk Song Translation Contest organized by CLEF, Acecook hopes to help bring Japanese culture closer to Vietnam and introduce Vietnamese culture to Japan. This is also part of the company’s journey to bring happiness to society.

About the Vietnamese-Japanese Folk Song Translation Contest 2023: As we know, music has always played a vital role in people’s spiritual lives. It not only reflects thoughts, feelings, and emotions, but also offers a window into a nation’s culture. Music also helps connect people to people and nations to nations. Therefore, the Vietnamese-Japanese Folk Song Translation Contest 2023 was created with the mission to promote the traditional music of Vietnam and Japan, while also fostering cultural exchange between the two countries through music.
