KICK-OFF OF THE “HAPPY NOODLE PACKAGE” PROGRAM 2024
Acecook Vietnam has recently partnered with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children to launch the 2024 “Happy Noodle Packet” program. The initiative aims to improve meal portions and create better learning conditions for disadvantaged children in remote and isolated areas. Through this project, Acecook Vietnam hopes to bring its core value of a “Happy Society” to life by actively participating in social contribution activities and bringing happiness to the community.
With the goal of encouraging and supporting children so they can continue their education and enjoy delicious, nutritious meals, the 2024 “Happy Noodle Packet” project is scheduled to be implemented across 13 provinces from North to South, including: Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Dak Nong, Kien Giang, Soc Trang, and Ca Mau. From April 22nd to April 26th, 2024, the project reached schools in the remote areas of Muong Lat district (Thanh Hoa) and Huong Son district (Ha Tinh). The students are mostly from ethnic minority groups, facing many hardships and deprivations in their daily lives. The program provided over 1,600 meal portions and awarded 90 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students in especially difficult circumstances, with the total support estimated at around 400 million VND.

The children’s joy in savoring delicious and safe meals made from Acecook Vietnam’s products, as well as their excitement at being able to continue their education, was beautifully expressed in the drawings they lovingly created and presented to Acecook Vietnam.

The “Happy Noodle Packet” project is a social initiative led by Acecook Vietnam in partnership with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. It aims to improve meal portions for disadvantaged children at institutions with communal kitchens. The goal is to ensure that the children’s meals are prepared following Acecook’s guidance for safety, nutritional value, and the product’s signature delicious taste. Additionally, the program provides scholarships and school supplies to motivate students to strive in their studies for a better future.

From its inception in 2019 to 2024, the six-year journey of the “Happy Noodle Packet” program has contributed a total of 15 billion VND, including 72,034 cartons of noodles, 2,320 scholarships, and 2,400 sets of school supplies.
Furthermore, starting in 2023, the project introduced a special activity called the “Happy Trip.” This trip brought nearly 50 disadvantaged and orphaned students from 8 provinces, representing different regions across the country, to visit the Acecook Vietnam factory, interact at the company’s office, and tour various attractions in Ho Chi Minh City.

This series of activities aims to enhance the protection and care of children, with a special focus on improving the material and spiritual well-being of children in special or difficult circumstances, ethnic minority children, and children in mountainous regions. The program also helps teachers in remote areas more effectively encourage families to send their children to school, contributing to a reduction in the school dropout rate.
Guided by its core “3 H’s” values (HAPPY): Happy Consumers (and partners), Happy Employees (and their families), and Happy Society, Acecook Vietnam commits to continuing its partnership and implementing more meaningful activities to spread happiness throughout Vietnamese society.
