ACECOOK VIETNAM BREAKS GROUND ON NEW RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER PROJECT

On April 20, 2026, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for its new Research and Development Center project, named D-GROOVE, at Tan Binh Industrial Park (Ho Chi Minh City).

The project marks an important step forward in the company’s strategy to enhance research and innovation capabilities, realizing its vision of sustainable development and global reach.

Bringing food values from Vietnam to the world

After more than 30 years of development in Vietnam, Acecook Vietnam has continuously expanded its production scale and perfected its factory system nationwide, gradually asserting its position as one of the leading enterprises in the instant food industry.

Building on that solid foundation, Acecook Vietnam is undergoing a strong transformation, shifting from a focus on production capacity to enhancing research and innovation capabilities, aiming to act as a value creator for consumers.

To realize this aspiration, Acecook Vietnam has launched the new Research and Development Center project named D-GROOVE. This project is built on the concept: “A research and development center that creates food values from Vietnam to the world.” D-GROOVE is not just a name, but a commitment to an operational philosophy. The letter “D” stands for Development – the starting point of all creativity. From that foundation, “GROOVE” flows as a stream created by 6 core values:

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kaneda Hiroki – General Director of Acecook Vietnam, shared: “To maintain our leading position and develop sustainably, we understand that R&D capability is the ‘heart’ of the enterprise. To reach new heights, we need a stronger ‘lever.’ Investing in the construction of a new Research and Development Center is not just about expanding our research scale, but an urgent investment in our future, our innovation capacity, and our ability to adapt to the most stringent standards of the global market.”

Elevating research capabilities, connecting global values

According to the plan, the project is expected to be completed in 2027. Here, Acecook Vietnam will deploy the most advanced technologies, such as taste sensors and digital aroma analysis, while expanding research into new product categories to fully meet the market’s diversity. D-GROOVE will also serve as a bridge to promote research cooperation with other units within the group, maximizing synergistic strength and spreading innovative values with Vietnamese imprints to the world.

Modern & eco-friendly design

With an expected 5-story structure on a land area of over 7,000 square meters, D-GROOVE is designed based on a smart integrated model: The ground floor is arranged as a miniature factory with seamless production lines, facilitating pre-production test sampling. From the second floor upwards is an office area with a simple design, optimizing spaces for various uses—from open areas that promote communication among employees to private spaces for focused work.

In parallel, this new Research and Development Center building is designed with flexible spaces to meet the needs of research and testing across different stages of development.

Particularly, with a vision and commitment to long-term, sustainable development, the center will integrate eco-friendly solutions such as a solar power system, thermal insulation materials, Low-E glass, and a lighting system with adjustable brightness and color, contributing to energy savings and optimizing the working environment.
