On April 11th afternoon, the short movie “The joy of dad” by young director Phan Gia Nhat Linh in combination with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company officially made a press launch at Cineplex BHD ICON 68.
The movie is a touching story about the relationship between the father and the son in the Vietnamese family in the new era. Due to being too busy with job and outside social relations, the children in the family have forgot to spend time with their parents – those who always love and wait every day to join their children in the family meal.
“It is not the geographical distance, but the indifference that causes the distance” is the message that Acecook Vietnam would like to send to the community, especially the young people via this project. **Director Phan Gia Nhat Linh – the person chosen with trust by Acecook Vietnam for this short movie project, though being a young director, made a successful impression with the debut movie “You are my grandmother” which has become the first movie in the history of Vietnam movie industry to reach 100 billion VND revenue at the ticket box. He was also one of the founders and developers of short movie party Yxineff and a familiar movie critic known as Phanxine. He shared: “Through this short movie, I really wish people, especially the young, to try to spend time with your family however busy your life can be, as there will be moments that cannot last forever, there are moments that will make you regret when thinking back later on.
