“PHO DAY” – December 12th 2017

In the afternoon of December 12th 2017, “Pho Day” Culinary Conference and Exhibition organized by Tuoi Tre Newspapers co-operated with Acecook Vietnam took place for the first time at White Palace, Tan Binh, HCMC.

In here, December 12th was officially proposed to call “Pho Day” in Vietnam and many famous food experts as well as noodle customers have tasted the delicious, hot “Pho” bowls with characteristic flavor from traditional to modern.

The opening of exhibition space is the picture wall of “The Story of Pho”, one picture is one story of Pho, the food with national soul marked with many changes of Vietnam. Pho followed Vietnamese from old loads to modern restaurant from the North to the South and followed the soldiers to the island. Not only in Vietnam, Pho also followed the Vietnamese people to abroad and is loved by many indigenous people.

Visitors will experience a renaissance of the traditional noodle making process, from pre-processing rice to baking, baking drying and cutting yarn before serving with beef, green onion to make Pho bowls.

The program brought together more than one thousand noodle fans in the country and also international friends, to experience the traditional noodles in rattan furniture, to the variations with Pho yarn and modern pho flavor at Acecook Vietnam stand.

It is the first time, Pho fans are able to experience Pho Vending Machine, just only few simple steps, you immediately have one Pho cup, which can be added boiled water then enjoy right there without going far.

One highlight of Pho Day is the “Pho of People” Conference. Here, the leading experts on foods are Ms. Phan Ton Tinh Hai, Dr. Han Nguyen Nguyen Nha and Mr. Trinh Quang Dung shared knowledge, stories of the unique essence of Pho Viet. According to Ms. Phan Ton Tinh Hai: “The variation, reconciliation, internationalization of pho is very large so pho is easily spread.” I used to cook Pho and instructions to cook for many foreigners. Many people talk about Pho should be more confident to go abroad to introduce, promote Pho.”


Not only Pho stores, cuisine schools but also enterprises such as Acecook Vietnam also contribute an important role to bring typical culinary culture of Vietnam to introduce widely to the lovers of Vietnam culture, Vietnam cuisine in the world. Mostly through processing and exporting to improve the value of Vietnamese rice, the main ingredients make not only Pho, but also Bun, Hu Tieu, etc. and many traditional foods.


The program closed with stories, experiences, and memorable pictures and above all was a scented space of Pho, a familiar scent, not mixed with any other dishes that Vietnamese people always remember when being far away…
